LINDISFARNE emerged from Tyneside in the 1970s and quickly carved out a unique place for themselves as one of British rock’s most original bands. Their pioneering sound, combining acoustic instruments like mandolin and fiddle with their electric blues roots, proved the perfect medium to deliver the catchy, memorable songs provided by the band’s resident writers Alan Hull and Rod Clements. Their first hit, the Clements-penned Meet Me On The Corner, paved the way for their classic Fog On The Tyne to become the UK’s top-selling album of 1972.The original band finally called it a day in 2003, but now LINDISFARNE are back with a classic five-piece line up of long-time members fronted by original founder-member Rod Clements (vocals, mandolin, fiddle, slide guitar) and Alan Hull’s son-in-law Dave Hull-Denholm (vocals,guitars).
The timeless appeal of LINDISFARNE continues to defy all expectations as the band embark on another year of relentless touring for 2024. Led by original founder member RodClements, the well-loved & respected North East band will perform their repertoire of unforgettable songs, like Meet Me On The Corner, Fog On The Tyne, Lady Eleanor and RunFor Home. Selling out at venues all over the world, Clearwater Creedence Revival (tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival) feature road-hardened players who, collectively have performed with – Stax legend Steve Cropper, Big Country, Denny Laine (Wings, Moody Blues), Eric Haydocks Hollies, Animals And Friends, Alan Silson (Smokie), Wayne Fontana’s Mindbenders and more. Together, they are the best ‘tribute’ to CCR & Fogerty you’re ever likely to see! “Clearwater Creedence Revival do themselves “Proud” (‘…Mary’). Clearwater creedence revival band members are Peter Barton, fellow founder member Geoff Hammond and Graham Pollock and Alan Sagar and have been together for 20 years. Barton was the lead singer of The Animals for 15 years while drummer Hammond is a former member of the Denny Laine Band, guitarist Pollock played in The Hollies with Eric Haydock and bassist Sagar was a member of cult country rock band Slack Alice.
